Patrick M. Rohal, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Rohal opened CovenantMD in January, 2016. He grew up in Maryland, and is happy to be setting down roots (pronounced “ruhts”) in Lancaster. His wife, Lynn, is a native of Manheim. They have 3 young children – two girls and a boy. Drama was his first passion, playing Curly in Oklahoma and Malvolio in Twelfth Night during his high school career. But he also had talents in math and science, which made his parents overrule his burgeoning film career and send him to college to get some practical skills. He may not be the next James Bond, but building CovenantMD is all the adventure he could ever ask for. He enjoys roughhousing with his kids, fly-fishing, hunting, golfing, skiing, reading, and singing in barbershop quartets and his church choir. He is a member at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.

Dr. Rohal earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Malcolm Grow USAF Medical Center. He is Board-certified in Family Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Susan A. Mellinger, MD

A native Virginian, Dr. Mellinger has lived and served as a family physician in Lancaster County for over twenty years. She considers it a privilege to partner with folks of all ages and backgrounds to tackle health concerns together, and is excited to be a part of the CovenantMD family. Dr. Mellinger completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, an MD degree from the University of Virginia, and a family medicine residency at Lancaster General Hospital. She has served on the medical ethics committees at both LGH and the former Hospice of Lancaster County. She has a lifelong interest in miniature woodworking and loves all things outdoors. Dr. Mellinger's greatest joys are being the wife to husband Don and the mother of her three children. They thoroughly enjoy maintaining their personal petting zoo: four rabbits, a horse, two goats, and a miniature poodle!

Jane Snyder, CRNP (arriving Oct 2018)

Jane is a Lancaster County native, and now resides just outside the city with her significant other and their two young children. She obtained her RN degree from HACC. She worked for a few years in intensive care while obtaining a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Millersville University. She obtained her Nurse practitioner degree in 2012 from Widener University. Since then, she has worked in Lancaster as a Nurse Practitioner, and is excited now to be joining CovenantMD. For the past year Jane has embarked on a new journey that she describes as “life changing” -- a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, which concludes in the summer of 2019. She has already begun applying I.M. principles in her patient care. Jane is an avid traveller. When not jet-setting, spending quality time with family and friends is high on her priority list. Jane also enjoys cooking, running, yoga, gardening and just about anything outside!

Faith Cranford, RN

Faith is originally from Pittsburgh but has called Lancaster her home since she graduated from Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing in 1980. She lives with her husband, Scott, and together they have five "blended" children and four granddaughters. Faith enjoys bargain shopping for unique & quirky finds, working with essential oils, dining out at the many awesome restaurants in Lancaster and attempting to promote and live a clean lifestyle. During her nursing career, Faith has worked in maternity, day surgery, surgical nursing and utilization review. Her last 17 years have been with Lancaster Gastroenterology (now Regional Gastroenterology) as a GI nurse, manager and mentor with a specialty in the treatment of Hepatitis C. Faith has a "git-r-done" attitude & likes to think outside the box. She is passionate about educating and communicating at the level of each unique individual. She considers herself blessed to have the opportunity to work with the staff and patients at CovenantMD.

Lori Felizzi, LPN

Lori is a native Lancastrian. She lives in Lancaster City and is learning to adapt to life as an empty nester, as her 18-year-old son heads off to college. Besides supporting her son as her favorite athlete throughout the years, Lori enjoys learning new things, meeting new people, participating in various creative/artistic projects, music and singing in the choir at church, hiking, organizing, gardening, reading, and serving others.

Lori obtained her LPN from Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, and has been licensed since 2009. She has worked in several local nursing facilities specializing in Dementia Care. She has also worked in Home Care, where she particularly enjoyed building relationships with her patients. She is excited about similar opportunities at CovenantMD, with its emphasis on the patient-doctor (and patient-nurse!) relationship.

Stephanie Zahn, LPN (arriving August, 2018)

After spending her childhood as an Air Force brat, Steph has called Lancaster County home since 1987. She is a proud mom of two girls (one is just finishing nursing school!) and one boy. She, her husband, and her kids enjoy spending time outdoors camping, swimming, hiking, and gardening. She also volunteers at Greystone Manor Therapeutic Riding Center with her daughter. She stayed at home with her kids until they were in school full time, then worked at the Warwick School district as a paraprofessional in special education. Wanting to try something new, she switched to nursing and worked as a CNA in skilled care. She graduated from Lancaster County Career & Technology Center as an LPN in 2015, and has since worked in a rehab hospital and an outpatient office. She is excited to experience Direct Primary Care at CovenantMD, seeing it as a model that caters to her passion for patient care.
